I'm Daksh Jain,
a Full Stack Developer building web applications from interface to API.
I'm a Full Stack Developer working primarily with Node.js, React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and MySQL. I enjoy working across the frontend and backend, from designing APIs and database models to building production-ready interfaces.

I like building things that actually have to work.
I'm a Full Stack Developer with 3 years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications.
My work has involved more than just writing features. I've worked with existing systems, built backend APIs, integrated third-party services, worked with databases, investigated performance issues, and turned business requirements into working software.
I enjoy moving between the frontend and backend because understanding both sides helps me make better engineering decisions.
Whether I'm building something from scratch or working inside an existing production system, I try to keep three things in mind:
Does it solve the problem?
Will it be maintainable?
Will it scale with the system?

One thing professional development has taught me is that production software is different from a project that simply works on your laptop.
Performance, maintainability, error handling, security, database queries and the ability to change the system later all matter. That experience has shaped how I approach development today.

My Full Stack Development Experience at Woodenstreet
One of the most valuable parts of my professional experience has been working on a real-world e-commerce platform at Woodenstreet.
I've worked with technologies including Node.js, Next.js, React and MySQL, contributing to application features, backend APIs, third-party integrations and the modernization of an existing PHP-based system.
Working on a production application gave me exposure to problems that don't usually appear in small personal projects: existing codebases, integrations, performance, business requirements and the need to make changes without breaking what is already working.

How I Work
I don't just want code that works.
Understand the problem
Before thinking about implementation, I try to understand what we are actually solving and why.
Keep the architecture practical
I prefer straightforward architectures that are easy to understand and evolve rather than adding complexity without a reason.
Think beyond the feature
Performance, error handling, security, database queries and maintainability matter just as much as getting the feature working.
Keep learning
I continue going deeper into backend engineering, system design, performance and production-grade application architecture.
What I'm Building Now
Learning. Building. Improving.
I'm continuing to grow as a Full Stack Developer, with a particular interest in backend engineering, scalable APIs, system design and production architecture.
I also enjoy documenting things I learn through technical writing sometimes seriously, sometimes with a little storytelling.
The goal is simple:
Technical enough to understand the system, practical enough to build it, and curious enough to keep improving it.
Outside The Code
There's more than just debugging.
When I'm not building or debugging something, I enjoy playing cricket and badminton, exploring new series or movies, and occasionally getting stuck on a problem that was supposed to take "just 10 minutes."
